Get involved
Come stand atthe table with us.
Our volunteers are students, retirees, grandparents, and neighbors who had a free Saturday morning. There is a job for whatever time you have — and no experience required for any of it.
Ways to help
Pick what fits your week.
You do not have to commit to everything. Choose one thing below and we will show you the ropes.
Pack and hand out groceries
Monthly distributionSort produce, build boxes, and greet families at the distribution table. This is where almost everyone starts, and it is the most fun.
Host a food drive
AnytimeGather shelf-stable goods at your church, workplace, or block. We will help you set it up and pick up what you collect.
Tutor or teach
Weekday afternoonsSit with a child over homework, or help an adult with English, literacy, or job readiness. A few hours a week changes a year.
Drive and deliver
FlexibleSome of our neighbors cannot get to the table. A car and an hour get a box to their door.
Translate and welcome
Distribution daysHelp a new family feel less lost at the sign-in table. If you speak more than one language, we need you.
Behind the scenes
FlexibleCalling, filing, setting up chairs, taking photos, keeping records. Unglamorous and absolutely necessary.
